Will Work for Pocky!

First, a Word from the Queen of Swords:

Yes, kiddies, Elder Star needs your support! Domain names and hosting be expensive for po' folk like us. I mean, we're just these two gals with loser jobs, and a university student coping with high taxes. But we have dreams! Yes, grand dreams! The Queen wants to sell more novels than Stephen King! Amethyst Angel wants to have Studio Ironcat groveling at her feet! And Joe wants to RULE THE WORLD! And once he rules the world, he'll remember those of you who helped him achieve his megalomaniac dream, those of you who donated money to support Elder Star! The rest of you, he will grind beneath his l33t h4x0r boots while QOS writes a Saga about it, and AA commemorates his glorious triumph over the unl33t with a magnificent oil painting. However, from cute h4x0r gurlz he might accept companionship in lieu of actual cash money. (Not THAT kind of companionship, you pervert! He's a nice boy. A nice boy who wants to RULE THE WORLD!)

Amethyst Angel sez:

Hello everyone

Here's five reasons I've come up with as to why you should donate to the Elder Star comic fund:

  1. It keeps those of us at fluffy-bunnies.com off the streets (and our demented collective genius engaged in activites which will most likely benefit mankind --instead of destroying it utterly).
  2. Because by donating, you are not only helping to support this comic, you are also making it possible for me, the artist, to have the time to devote to (and possibly finish) my other webcomic projects as well.
  3. Also, for every hundred dollars you donate to the Elder Star fund, the Queen of Swords promises she'll write and post an additional chapter of her fanfics.

WHAM!

Ow....okay.....maybe not......uh-HEM....moving on......

  1. Because if you donate, we'll give you cool stuff, like desktop wallpaper, artwork, and extra special features. You can even get your hands on things like art supplies, "How to Draw Manga" books, anime on VHS....

Queen of Swords: ...And if you're real lucky, you might just score an authentic Flint Steele Massive Codpiece™ with Flint still attached! Guess that'd only be attractive to the Ladies, eh? Well...hmmm...we could also offer Tali's Boulder Holders™ with Tali to please the Gents!

AA: Uh-huh... Sure sounds better than the crappy tote bags and travel mugs you get from donating to Public TV, eh?

Last, but not least, Reason #5 to donate to the Elder Star fund...

  1. If you don't like what you see and you feel you want to voice a suggestion or a complaint, we'll be more inclined to listen to you if you shoot a little cash our way. Likewise, if you like our work and want to tell us how much you appreciate it, we'll be more inclined to believe your sentiments if you cross our palms with a little silver. (Or a LOT of silver if you want to really show us how much you appreciate us...)

A fascinating inside look at the process of Japanese animation, how figures are animated, how cels are painted, and how different types of effects are created. (Sure, it's all in Japanese, but you can get a pretty good feel for what's going on from the pictures. The "Painting Cels" section should be of special interest to cel fanartists, I'm sure.) Everyone who donates gets entered into the monthly contest (and thereby, gets a chance to win this book. 1 entry per month no matter what the amount you donate.) Good luck!
